Syllabus Compliant
Yes. Our lessons are all created to comply with the 'Personal Development, Health and Physical Education K-6' Syllabus released in October 2024 by the NSW Education Standards Authority.
Every lesson includes a comprehensive Lesson Description along with referencing the exact areas of the Syllabus covered in that lesson.

Yes. Teachers can select the Stage of their class in SSME. They now know those lessons are Syllabus compliant, safe & inclusive, for that class.
Safe & Inclusive
All the Lesson Plans and Activities in SSME have been designed and created by PE teachers and sports coaches who have expertise in understanding the suitability of activities for children in each Stage.
Teacher know their students better than anyone, so if you are concerned about an Activities suitability for the class, then skip that activity.
Note: You can go to the Activities list on the homepage and select any activity you believe is more suitable if you wish.
Do 2 things:
1. Go to the homepage and look at Teacher PD where we have specific advice on that topic.
2. Carefully read the Activity Description and Key teaching Points to get specific tips for that specific activity.
SSME is deliberately “Read Only” which means it stores NO data of any kind about teachers or students.
Advice from our PE Teachers & Coaches
Focus on those three goals in that order.
1. Never compromise on the safety of your students.
2. Manage each lesson so that every child is involved irrespective of their ability.Have Fun.
3. Do what it takes to have some laughs with the students.

2 - You now have PE and sports coaching expertise at your finger tips.
3 - You have every reason to believe you can conduct very high quality PE and sports lessons.
Many teachers will have experience and expertise in conducting high quality and PE sports lessons. If that is you, then please use SSME as a resource to help you make the most of your skills.

Content
They are the combined work of PE Teachers and Sports Coaching experts.
We then consult with other experts such as Principals, Teachers, Childhood Physiologists and Psychiatrists, to ensure the content is suitable.
One for each week of a Term.
The Lessons are designed too be progressive from Lesson 1 onwards, but we understand teachers may not follow the sequence so it is not critical to conduct the lesson in sequence.
By keeping the Lesson Plans in a consistent format makes it easier and more effective for teachers and students.
We all understand the importance of repetition in the learning process, so we deliberately repeat activities through a 10 week series of Lessons.
Some Activities are used across all Stages but in various ways according veto the Stage and Lesson Plan.
Other Activities are more suited to a specific Stage.
Yes. Every class is unique, so don't be afraid to trust your judgement and use a different Activity when you want to.
Just go to the homepage and click on Activities, then select according to what you feel is most suitable at that specific time.
Not during a school term.
We currently have over 800 Activities in our collection, and only approximately 100 are in the current SSME content.
While repetition is important, so is variety, so we will make subtle changes to the Lesson Plans between Terms as required.

We are always happy to receive requests and suggestions from teachers.
If you have an idea for an Activity or even create one, then please email us.
On the surface it might look obvious and easy, but there is a lot that goes into designing and evaluating Activities, so we will hand the idea to our team who can conduct our content evaluation process.
We also reply and keep you up to date on where we are at with your idea.
Sport Modules
The Trial content is mixed, so it includes General PE, Football (Soccer), plus a small amount of other sports.
Yes. Our priority is to provide PE and sport Lesson Plans that are Safe, Inclusive, and Fun for all students.
If a sporting activity meets that criteria, our team will design and create content involving that sport.
We engage expert coaches in each sport to be part of our process of designing and creating suitable content.
State or National sports federations may be engaged, but they are not essential in the provision of a SSME module.
YouTube & Other Resources
They can; but be sure to evaluate the activity for safety, inclusivity, fun, and how it fits into the Syllabus for your class Stage.
You then need to collate the links, print documents, etc, so you have the resources available to you while out in the playground or other activity area.
There are some excellent resources, so if you have the time to research and collate your own lesson plans and activities, then you should be able to conduct high quality PE and sport lessons.
SSME requires no training, no planning, no experience or sports expertise; everything is at your finger tips 24/7, leaving you time to focus on your other jobs.
